Hydraulics
Why are the hydraulics slow?
If the hydraulics are slow but still strong, flow may be lacking rather than maximum pressure. Low engine speed, pump output or control, a restriction, insufficient pilot pressure or internal leakage can be involved. Start by comparing functions.
Every function is slow
Check engine speed, work mode, pump output and displacement command, pilot pressure, LS, filters, suction and oil level. Normal maximum pressure with long cycle times can mean that the pump develops pressure without delivering enough flow.
Only one function is slow
Check spool travel, pilot pressure, solenoid, flow restriction, hose, control valve section, cylinder and hydraulic motor.
Compare cycle times
Measure boom lift, arm movement, bucket opening and closing, swing and other function times. Compare them with the specific model’s manual where figures are available.
Pump control
A mechanically sound pump may receive the wrong command. Check EPC/PC, LS, power shift, pressure sensors, solenoids and the machine controller.
Temperature effect
If the machine works well cold but becomes noticeably slow when hot, investigate internal leakage.
What you can observe
Are all functions slow or only one? Is force still normal? Does speed change with engine speed, and is cold operation better? Note faults, noise and foaming oil.

Have a fault code?
Problem still there?
If these checks have not identified the cause or the fault returns, contact TSV Servis. The more initial information you provide, the sooner we can identify the next diagnostic direction.
What to send us
Prepare cycle times, measured pressures, oil temperature, engine speed and pump control data.
Include the make and model, S/N or a nameplate photo, engine model if known, operating hours, exact code or display photo and when the fault occurs.
Also tell us what you have already checked or replaced and the results. Include a photo or short video of the symptom where useful.
